US performer Finn, who featured in beloved programs including Friends, Seinfeld and The Middle, has succumbed at the age of 60.
The skilled improv artist succumbed at his home in Los Angeles, California this Monday after undergoing treatment for a cancer diagnosis beginning in 2022, per reports.
"Pat never met a stranger - solely future friends he had yet to meet," his loved ones shared in a announcement.
They noted that he had "lived his life fully - with zest and passion".
His debut TV appearance was on a show starring George Wendt in 1995, where he played the titular character's brother.
He was also seen in a regular part on Murphy Brown between 1995 and 1997.
He starred as a party host named Joe Mayo in Seinfeld in 1998, playing a host who would assign burdensome jobs to his guests.

Finn was perhaps best known for playing Bill Norwood in "The Middle", appearing throughout eight seasons from 2011 to 2018.
His work in movies include "It's Complicated" and Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups.
Outside of his acting parts, Finn was an improv performer and also taught at the Colorado university, where he was an adjunct professor.
He was a member of a six-member improv team known as Beer Shark Mice.
"Pat coached, befriended and mentored numerous pupils over the years and you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who has an unkind word to say about him," his family wrote.
Paying homage, colleague and actor Richard Kind remarked there was "not a more kind, gentle, or funny, authentic human being you could encounter".
"Consistently upbeat, helping you be funnier and better. An excellent dad and person," he shared online.
Finn is leaves behind his partner Donna, three children, and his parents and siblings.
