Learning From Earlier Shortcomings

The game follows the heels of the sci-fi the last installment, published previously to a unfavorable response it had difficulty to bounce back from.

"It's likely that we would not be able to build and design Battlefield 6 without the lessons we acquired in the last release," she tells our team.

One of those insights was to get fans participating soon, and the team launched closed fan testing sessions not long ago.

The "response was extremely positive," comments Rebecka.

Another omitted component from the last game was a story mode, which has been reintroduced in this version.

Criterion design director Fas Salim is the person responsible for "guaranteeing those missions are as enjoyable and interesting as feasible for the gamers."

In spite of claims that the scope of the title had challenged the various developers collaborating across continents to develop the title, the director is positive about the endeavor.

"Working with varied perspectives, varied backgrounds, it's a truly fascinating atmosphere to be involved in every day," he shares.

"This whole strategy has been an innovation but also very inspiring because we are working with people from around the globe."

Regarding the expectation on the crew, he says: "We feel pressure but at the same time it's exciting.

"This is a large venture. It's probably the most significant that the majority of the team have ever been involved in."

New Talent Contributes Innovative View

That's definitely true of no less than one developer, lighting artist the artist.

This young professional makes the visual ambiance that define the atmosphere, tone, and direction of the single-player campaign.

The artist undertook an internship at the studio preceding getting a role with them, and now works with reduced hours while finishing his VFX qualification at Bournemouth University.
