Star Refutes Anti-Vaxxer Views After Voicing Controversial Pandemic Documentary

The acclaimed actor has provided his narration to a feature-length documentary that questions the efficacy of vaccinations and praises ex- government figure RFK Jr.

The Feature's Disputed Foundation

Called "Plague of Corruption," the project is based on a bestselling book written by Judy Mikovits, who became famous during the pandemic for assertions that the virus was a result of a problematic version of the seasonal immunization.

The publication's co-author, a producer, has also written books with far-right media personality a known commentator. The producer took to social media praising Neeson's participation in the project.

An Unequivocal Denial

A spokesperson for Liam Neeson have released a comment firmly refuting suggestions that he holds anti-vaccine views.

"Many recognize that unethical practices might be present within the drug industry, but that must not be confused with opposition to vaccines," the response explains. "Neeson is not, and cannot be described as, against vaccines. His long work with Unicef reinforces his consistent support for global immunisation initiatives."

The response continued that the actor did not shape the film's messaging and that questions about its assertions ought to go to the creators.

Major Claims In the Documentary

In the film, the voiceover read by Neeson makes several strong claims:

  • It suggests that pro-vaccine voices have demanded "unconditional submission" to public institutions.
  • It argues that "science has become dangerously politicized."
  • Robert F Kennedy Jr is interviewed saying, "The major issue with vaccines is that they just aren't properly vetted."
  • The film further attacks pandemic restrictions, arguing they caused severe distress that led to the loss of thousands of lives.
  • Regarding Covid vaccines, it cites a view that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "risky trials."

Previous Controversy and Ongoing Issues

The documentary includes a past television report about AIDS medication trials on children, which was later the subject of a formal apology by the corporation for editorial breaches.

Last month, the political figure called on the CDC to revise its official position that there is no connection between vaccines and autism. This supposed link is also referenced in the documentary, despite a fresh analysis from the global health body stating no such link has been found.

A Previous Position of Support

Standing in contrast to the documentary's tone, Neeson has formerly shown firm endorsement for vaccines in his position as a charity ambassador.

In 2022, he called vaccines as "a remarkable achievement," adding that "The debate about vaccines in recent years has overlooked how much benefit they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest shared accomplishments in human history."

"Plague of Corruption" ends with Neeson's script stating, "This marks not the end of our story. This is the dawn of a different phase."
